Call-for-Papers: Albany Law Review, Independent Judicial Federalism from a National or State Perspective

Information below:

Topics: Papers can approach issues relating to independent judicial federalism from a national or state perspective. Both legal, law-related, and multidisciplinary

approaches are welcome. As has been true for State Constitutional Commentary since its inaugural issue 24 years ago, the purpose has been to explore public law in state courts in the broadest sense with the widest range of perspectives. Hence, within the general concept of “State Courts in the Trump Era,” a vast scope of topics is welcome.

Selected papers will be published in The Albany Law Review’s 24th annual issue of State Constitutional Commentary. Proposals should briefly describe the specific topic, perspective, and relevance to the general concept of “State Courts in the Trump Era,” as well as identifying the author(s).

Submission deadline: An abstract is due by December 15, 2018.  Inquiries and submissions should be sent to Mary Ann Krisa, mkrisa@albanylaw.edu, Executive Editor for State Constitutional Commentary or to Vincent M. Bonventre, vbonv@albanylaw.edu, Faculty Advisor. The due date for final submissions is February 1, 2019.
